I had an older model, so I got the new R5. And WOW!! VERY nice, smooth, powerful and WATER PROOF?? OMG!! What an awesome Razor. The R5 stands above and beyond!

Razor blades are very loud and.may be touching outer shield.
That said the razor shaves a very tough beard close and comfortable.
